Anaxagoras D=52 km Center: 74°N, 350°E Count Area: 154 km^2 (NAC used: M185971152, M185964003, M185956855, M104582542, M183612268, M183619417, M185978300) Observed Density (@ 1km): not observed Age: 0.3 ± 0.1 Stoffler epoch: Copernican Fit Density (@ 1km): 400 ± ?? PF fit: good Age calculation notes: many points; large craters are slightly shallower, but within error USGS geology: Copernican Wilhelms: Copernican Floor material: Best guess is original. Areas of smooth floor with blocky areas. Large peak. Geology Observations: Can see ejecta blanket and some bright rays. Peak and wall are sharp. Formed in mare. Some blocks on floor could be caused by collapse of walls? No secondaries identified except for one splash crater (see more smaller ones). These may actually be due to formation in layer and not self secondaries because do have newer ones that are not splash morphology around them. SFD Observations: Dominated by classes 3 & 4. Steeper distribution, no shallow right ear. Slope(Diff) = 4.3 ± 0.3. Discussion notes: "v" feature not statistically significant, change MPF fit to "OK" Last Edited by MRK 1/8/2014
