Bullialdus D=61 km Center: 21¡S, 338¡E Count Area: 407 km^2 Observed Density (@ 1km): 11000 ± 4500 Age: 3.7 ± 0.1 Stoffler epoch: Late Imbrian Fit Density (@ 1km): 9600 ± 1100 PF fit: OK Age calculation notes: Data has minimum number of points. Last three bins fall above the MPF. Used Melosh gravity scaling. USGS geology: Eratosthenian, with Copernican-age fill on North portion of floor Wilhelms: Eratosthenian Floor material: Moderate-sized peak that appears slightly eroded. Crater is deep. Hummocky on SE side, smooth on NE (area analyzed). USGS maps the smooth part as later Copernican-aged fill (likely mare). Smoothness could also be consistent with impact melt, however. Best guess is original. Geology Observations: Ejecta blanket and secondary field visible. Rim sharp. See rays around the crater that are not from it (directionality wrong). They could be from Tycho, which means that this crater could have Tycho secondaries superposed. However, no secondaries recognized. Perhaps need to re-examine, especially the three largest craters which may be secondaries. Formed on mare. SFD Observations: Distribution is steep for small craters and shallow for large ("right ear" shape). Classes 3 & 4 dominates. Class shapes are similar within error. Slope(Diff)=-2.6 ± 2.9 Also examined by Baldwin (1985) and Neukum & Konig (1976): Baldwin - density = 5200, age = 3.2, area = 2043 (likely ejecta) Neukum - density = 7000, age = 3.6, ejecta Last Edited by MRK 1/11/2014
