Eratosthenes D=59 km Center: 15¡N, 349¡E Floor Area = 465 km^2 Observed Density (@ 1km): 5000 ± 3300 Simone's Age: 2.6 ± 0.4 (+sec: 3.7) Stoffler epoch: Eratosthenian Fit Density (@ 1km): 3400 ± 500 PF fit: OK Age Calculation Notes: While the match between data and MPF is good, the error bars on the data is large and there are a small number of points. Last bin falls a little above. Used Melosh gravity. USGS geology: Eratosthenian Wilhelms: Eratosthenian Floor material: Deep crater and large, but slightly eroded, peak. Hummocky and smoother areas. No evidence of embayment at crater wall. Far enough away from Copernicus ejecta blanket. Likely original. Geology Observations: Ejecta blanket and secondary field visible, but eroded. Rim looks slightly eroded. Collapse on NW side of crater (excluded), cause uncertain. Some large unusually shaped craters (D ~ 1 km), likely secondaries from Copernicus. Copernicus secondaries may be pervasive. Formed on mare. SFD Observations: Slightly steep shape. Dominated by classes 2,3,4. Classes have similar shape within error. Slope(Diff)=-4.2 ± 0.3 Secondaries shallower. Slope not calculated - only two points.
