Ioffe D=84 km Center: 14°S, 231°E Count Area: 851 km^2 Observed Density (@ 1km): 7100 ± 2900 Age: 3.6 ± 0.1 (+sec: 3.7) Stoffler epoch: Late Imbrian Fit Density (@ 1km): 6900 ± 800 PF fit: good, area < 1000 km2, smallest craters in slight excess Age calculation notes: ~ good fit (SM). good fit - one point slightly off - use as is; adding OSs does not change fit but does increase age slightly (MRK). USGS geology: Crater itself is Late Imbrian, but plains mapped in middle as Imbrian, possibly late. Large crater at 1:00 mapped as a secondary crater (Orientale?). Wilhelms: Friedman confused with Ioffe - Ioffe not mapped - Friedman labeled as Late Imbrian. Floor material: Best guess is not original. USGS has mapped as fill. Small peak. Softened appearance. Soft? Geology Observations: Ejecta blanket visible, but not bright in WAC and somewhat eroded. Small central peak, looks eroded. Half of floor is smooth, other hummocky (avoided). Large crater at 1:00 may caused collapse and some resurfacing by ejecta. A few secondary clusters/chains observed with small craters (< 1.3 km). SFD Observations: Classes fairly equal in density (2 has lowest). Steeper distribution. No shallow "right ear". Slope(Diff)=5.0 ± 0.7 Discussion notes: no issues Last Edited by MRK 12/13/2012
