La Perouse D= 80 km Center: 10°S, 76°E Count Area: 1298 km^2 Observed Density (@ 1km): 8500 ± 2600 Age: 3.6 ± 0.1 (+sec: 3.6) Stoffler epoch: Late Imbrian Fit Density (@ 1km): 7200 ± 1500 PF fit: good, smallest and largest in excess Age calculation notes: ~ good fit (SM). First and last points don't fit, otherwise pretty good fit - use as is; adding OSs has little effect on the fit or age (MRK). USGS geology: All mapped as Late Imbrian crater material. Wilhelms: Late Imbrian Floor material: Best guess is original, but does look softened. Soft? Geology Observations: Ejecta blanket visible, appears somewhat eroded. Rim crest still sharp. Central peak moderate size, has eroded appearance. Floor hummocky (very hummocky areas near rim avoided). Floor also seems to have some background "texture" - small craters? One or two secondary chains with small (< 1 km) craters observed. SFD Observations: Dominated by classes 3 and 4 at D < 1.5 km, but 2 dominates the large craters. Matches MPF. Distribution has steep portion for small (< 1.5 km) and shallow for large craters (?). Shallow "right ear" indicated by one crater only. Slope(Diff) = 5.5 ± 1.1.
