Piccolomini D= 88 km Center: 30°S, 32°E Count Area: 1507 km^2 Observed Density (@ 1km): 24600 ± 4100 Age: 3.9 ± 0.1 (+sec: 3.9) Stoffler epoch: Nectarian Fit Density (@ 1km): 20700 ± 1400 PF fit: good, largest craters slightly steep, many secondaries? Age calculation notes: good fit (SM). good fit (within error for large craters) - use as is; adding OSs worsens quality of fit (data steeper), but age remains the same (MRK). USGS geology: All mapped as Imbrian age crater material. Wilhelms: Late Imbrian Floor material: Best guess is not original. Has edges near crater rim with sharp boundaries like an embayed feature. Also mostly smooth floor. Some small hills. However, USGS mapped as original. Appears softened. Soft? Geology Observations: Ejecta blanket visible, looks somewhat eroded. Large central peak, appears slightly eroded. Rim looks slightly eroded. Many degraded secondary clusters/chains all over crater floor (up to 1.5 km). SFD Observations: Dominated by classes 3 and 4. Classes 1 & 2 at much lower density, but have very similar shapes. Steeper distribution, but shallower than some others in this diameter range. No shallow "right ear" (at least with this binning). Slope(Diff)=3.7 ± 0.4. Discussion notes: no issues Last Edited by MRK 12/17/2012
