Vavilov D= 99 km Center: 1°S, 221°E Count Area: 838 km^2 Observed Density (@ 1km): 2400 ± 1700 Age: 1.7 ± 0.1 (+sec: 2.3) Stoffler epoch: Eratosthenian Fit Density (@ 1km): 2200 ± 100 PF fit catagory: good, poor statistics, area < 1000 km2, young Age calculation notes: Poor statistics (SM). Error bars are large, but the fit generally goes through the points well - good fit - use as is; age changes if OSs included and fit is poorer (MRK). USGS geology: All mapped as Copernican crater material. Wilhelms: Copernican Floor material: Best guess is combination of original melt material (hard) plus material from collapse of right side (soft). Geology Observations: Ejecta blanket visible, but no rays observed in WAC. Central peak set of small, scattered hills. Large collapse on right side (not included for counts), possibly due to Vavilov formation on another crater of ~ same size. Floor hummocky. Very few and small secondaries (up to 900 m). SFD Observations: Dominated equally by all classes. Matches MPF. Steeper distribution. No shallow "right ear". Slope(Diff)=5.7 ± 1.2 Discussion notes: discuss differences in age when including secondaries Last Edited by MRK 12/18/2012
